Japanese Knotweed Surveys and Removal
Japanese knotweed is a weed that spreads rapidly. During the winter it dies back to ground level but over the summer months stems that look very much like bamboo appear from deep in the ground, these can then grow up to 7 feet tall, preventing other plant life to grow.
Quite recently mortgage lenders have refused mortgages on properties affected by Japenese knotweed, even those where the weed is up to 30 metres away.
Because it's such an invasive plant, it can be very difficult to remove, which is where we come in. Alongside Weedtec, we carry out Japanese knotweed surveys, which provides us with the knowledge of the best way of treating the problem, either by stem injecting or spraying.
We can provide a 5 year treatment plan, which involves 3 years of treating the weed and a further 2 years of close monitoring.
Our treatment plan comes with a 10 year insurance backed guarantee and our operatives are Property Care Association and Trustmark members, giving you complete peace of mind. We can provide all the necessary certificates and reporting needed by finance lenders, as we're fully qualified PCA surveyors.
We carry out surveys and treatments within a 50 mile radius of Manchester and Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
